Secrets To Dog Training

How Animal Communication Changed My Life And Enhanced My Dog Training!

My own Border Collie cross Badger taught me the importance of combining dog training and animal communication. Dog training on it’s own was not enough for this little girl (or us), animal communication quite literally saved her life. This is the story of our journey to discovering this.

Life had become settled and dare I say boring so to spice things up a little we decided to look into getting a puppy! We read dog training manual after dog training manual and the day eventually arrived when we felt we had read enough and we were ready to go get one!

We put everything we had learned into practice from day 1 and wow was she responsive or were we just that good at it?! She picked up all the usual commands with total ease, this was going to be a breeze.

5 weeks later it all changed. This little puppy was showing me her teeth if I went near her bowl, toy or bone – what happened to our wonderful and carefully planned dog training?

The day arrived when the inevitable happened – she bit me. It didn’t stop there, this then transferred to my husband and anyone we met, she wasn’t choosy anymore. On a walk if someone went to stroke her head she would whip round snarling, she decided what was hers and would shoot across the room if you went near ‘her’ things food, water, toys, anything really. She would lay in her bed curled up into a little ball just staring at us. ‘What’s wrong little girl’ we would ask, if only we could get into her head and work out what really went on in there.

Holidays and days out became a thing of the past as did visits to family and friends with the dogs. Nothing reached her any more not even the additional dog training, we were at a total loss as to what to do for all of us.

Various techniques and methods were used by the numerous Trainers and Behaviourists we consulted. Nothing worked, in fact if anything they made her worse. She was now aged 1 and fully grown, what a hopeless situation, where did we go from here? What next.. anything?

Life by now was incredibly stressful. We couldn’t carry on living like this, was she going to bite me today? Was she ever going to change? Is this just the way it is always going to be? Can we cope? We just wished we could understand her we knew that one day something serious would happen and then it would all be too late. Re-homing was out of the question as she would never actually leave the rescue centre as she had already displayed aggression. It had been suggested to us that she should be put too sleep for her own good was it time to make that decision?

Around this time, a friend had consulted an Animal Communicator and had had some very good results with her own dogs. Nothing else had worked to this point but we decided to contact an Animal Communicator in one last ditch attempt.

We needed the understanding and insight of our dog to move forward and with no idea whether it would work we contacted the Animal Communicator, James French.

It may sound like an overused clich – but Animal Communication really did save her life.. and ours! It provided the insight we needed; what motivated her, what was wrong with her, what she needed from us and where was it all going so wrong?

Our dog was NOT aggressive! Her behaviour certainly appeared that way but the truth of the matter was that her digestive system did not work as it should resulting in her being in constant pain – no wonder she was body sensitive and didn’t like being touched!

We also learnt that whilst we knew she was highly anxious and dominant she was mirroring me?! This took a bit of time to sink in to be honest How could this be? How can that happen? I had done everything possible to ensure I was a responsible dog owner Where had I gone so wrong? And then my light bulb moment we were now 3 years on and I was a nervous wreck! The situation with Badger had made me this way and I was keeping us that way time to change!

We made immediate changes starting with her food. We threw away the high quality biscuits and replaced it with a complete raw diet and amazingly very soon after we started to see some changes, we were too scared to breath was this really happening? After all this time were we at last making progress?! I also had some work to do too! If Badger was my mirror then I had to start looking at my own life and start to make my own changes.

The first thing to go was my very stressful job, the second change was actually the realisation that I didn’t actually have any ‘me’ time at all. My idea of relaxing was to catch up on the ironing whilst watching the TV. The most important decision was deciding that I wanted to train to be an Animal Communicator too, I just had to get out there and help others who had suffered like us.

If our own dog had been placed in rescue she would not have been re-homed or worse still she would have been put to sleep. How many dog owners out there were suffering like we had? How many dogs were dumped at rescue centres never to be re-homed or put to sleep simply because they do not have a voice and cannot be heard?

After numerous exams I am pleased to share with you that I am now a very proud fully qualified Animal Communicator! Dog training is still an everyday occurrence in our household but with the combination of the Animal Communication wow.what an enhancement! If you want to get the most out of training your dog then get the understanding and insight required to make training applicable and fun! Dog training manuals are generic and dogs like people are not, each and every one is totally special and unique. go on I urge you to find out how unique you won’t regret it!
