Dogs are Better than Cats
It is a well known fact that dogs are man’s best friend. They are very helpful to humans. They prove to be great companions, as well as very good guardians. To begin with, dogs are associated with safety. This is mainly due to their acute sense of hearing and impressive sense of smell. Having a dog as a pet is like having a 24-hour security guard in your house. They guard you and your house even when you are asleep. If they feel that something is wrong, they start barking and make you aware of that’s wrong. Anyone who has a pet dog in their house feels safer. This is unlikely to happen if you have a pet cat.
A dog is a much more loyal and caring pet as compared to a cat. A dog understands you and your emotions very well. When you’re having problems, you can talk to him about your worries. They’re always willing to listen. They are attentive to each and every word. He’ll also attempt to comfort you and make you feel better. On the other hand, a cat won’t respond to your feelings as well.
Another reason why dogs are better than cats as pets is because dogs are smarter. It is far easier to train a dog than a cat. They have the ability to learn tricks and commands very fast. Once trained, a dog can help you enough to even bring your slippers or fetch the paper if you ask him to. A cat, on the other hand, won’t be as obedient as they tend to be arrogant.
Whenever you feel like it, you can have a long, relaxing walk with your dog. Dogs like to stretch their legs outside, whereas cats prefer to be inside. Dogs are also naturally playful. You can spend an entire day playing with them. You cannot do the same if you had a pet cat, as they don’t socialize as much and prefer lazing about. Also, cats are finicky with their food while a dog would eat almost anything.
All these definitely prove that as pets dogs are far more superior than cats. After all, it’s not enough to say that a “Dog is a man’s best friend”. Dogs will give you unconditional love until the end. That is why dogs are a much better pet to own than cats. They are just more fun.
